This race and course have attracted the attention of pro riders and amateurs just wanting a challenging ride. So how can you ride? You can use the dirt roads, or jump in/jump out points, to create the length and challenge of a your ride.

Extremely Difficult | 29.6 miles | +4,386 ft

This classic point-to-point ride has it all from dirt roads to single track, steep climbs and descents to flat rolling terrain.  It starts in Fraser and ends at Winter Park Resort with numerous options for added loops or bailouts along the way.

Tipperary trail is a nice steady climb through a beautiful meadow, and it's especially beautiful in the fall. It's not technical, but a nice single track with two creek crossings. The flat section at the top will lead you to Spruce Creek for your descent.

STARTING POINT:

  • 0.0 miles- Start at the rodeo grounds of “Fraser Outdoor Activity Center,” cross and head south US Hwy 40 for .200 ft.
  • 200 ft.- Right on “CR 72” for .4 miles.
  • .4 miles- Right on “CR 721” for .8 miles
  • 1.2 miles- Cross road and left on “Givelo” single track for 1.7 miles.
  • 2.9 miles- Right on “Northwest Passage” single track for 1.4 miles.
  • 4.3 miles- Left on Co. Rd 50 for 3.1 miles.
  • 7.4 miles- Left on “Tipperary” trail for 2.2 miles.
  • 9.6 miles- Veer to left as trail crosses Tipperary Creek (this portion is also known as “Spruce Creek”) for 1.6 miles.
  • 11.1 miles- Veer left and stay on “Spruce Creek” trail for 1.8 miles.
  • 12.9 miles- Right on “FS 160,” then immediate left on “FS 159” for .2 miles.
  • 13.1 miles- Left on “Flume” single track for 2.2 miles.
  • 15.3 miles- Right on “Chainsaw” single track for 2.5 miles.
  • 17.8 miles- Right on “FS 158” for .2 miles.
  • 18.0 miles- Left on “Elk Meadow Trail” for 1 mile.
  • 19.0 miles- Left on “D2” jeep road for 1.2 miles.
  • 20.2 miles-Left on “FS 894.2D” for .5 miles.
  • 20.7 miles- Left on “WTB” single track for 1.8 miles.
  • 22.5 miles- Left on “D4” trail for 1.2 miles.
  • 23.7 miles- Right on “FS 148” dirt road for .9 miles.
  • 24.6 miles- Left on “Vasquez Ford” for .1 miles.
  • 24.7 miles- Merge left and then left again on “Blue Sky” single track for 1.4 miles.
  • 26.1 miles- After crossing Little Vasquez Creek, left on “FS 156” dirt road for .1 miles.
  • 26.2 miles- Right on “Ice Hill” single track for .9 miles.
  • 27.1 miles- Right on”Lower Cherokee”  single track for .8 miles.
  • 27.9 miles- Left on “Tunnel Hill Trail” dirt road for 1 mile.
  • 28.9 miles- Left on “Tunnel Hill Trail” single track .7 miles.
  • 29.6 miles- Finish at Base Village at Winter Park Resort.
