Banned Books Read-In

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 5th! Mountain Shire Books will be kicking off Banned Books Week with a Silent Book Club Read-In to protest against book bans. This year's theme, Censorship is so 1984, and we invite you to raise awareness with us to the current efforts to ban books and information across the country. The #BannedBooksWeek theme reminds us that the right to read belongs to all of us. Censorship has no place in contemporary society, and we must defend our rights.
