Winter Park offers both outdoor and indoor rock climbing adventures for all ages.

Head out on a guided 3-hour climbing experience with Winter Park Adventure Quest in the Arapaho National Forest, just minutes away. No experience necessary — this rock face has challenges for beginner through intermediate climbers and is great for small groups, like a girls'/guys weekend or family adventure!

Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park has a free bouldering/climbing wall as well as kids play areas, sledding in winter, slides, sun shades and more!

You can climb year-round with a couple of indoor offerings:

Grand Park Community Recreation Center  features a 33-foot climbing wall located right in our comfortable lobby/living area. You must be belay certified, 14 years of age, and sign a release waiver. You can become belay certified by their staff during scheduled program hours. Bouldering is allowed anytime except during scheduled programs.

Snow Mountain Ranch has a three-story indoor climbing wall, located in the Kiva building.  During a one-hour session, guests will learn the safe and proper way to rock climb.  They offer easy, moderate and difficult routes for all abilities.

And, if you're a climber with your own gear looking to head out and enjoy our crags we have some incredible spots such as Hurd Creek -  ask a local!
