Join the Grand County Advocates, for The Grand County Clothesline Project Kick-Off Reception at the Cozens Museum from 4-6 PM on Friday April 3rd.
The event is free and will feature light refreshments. The Project will be on display for the month of April.
The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual representation of personal stories, struggles, and
healing journeys of those impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Each shirt in the display
has been uniquely created by individuals within our community, with each design reflecting a
personal experience of trauma, abuse, or resilience. This project aims to raise awareness on
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in Grand County, foster empathy, and educate the
community about the importance of ending violence in all its forms.
Trigger Warning: Some images and messages may be
emotionally difficult or triggering. Please engage at your own pace and take space if needed.
