About This Plan

The Winter Park-Fraser Valley Sustainable Community Plan provides a North Star for our communities and many business and civic partners throughout our area. It was informed by work completed through collaborative visioning and a planning process that included multiple community organizations, business leaders and residents. The work was updated in 2022 through the work of multiple partner organizations from Winter Park and Fraser. Five Areas of Focus were identified by the planning team which provide the overarching organizing framework for the plan. Each Area of Focus is supported by specific success indicators, initiatives, and tactics. This plan is a living document and will be updated regularly to reflect changes in the community.
