Moffat Road Railroad Museum

Visitors can experience Colorado's Largest Permanent Christmas O Scale Model Train Display with six trains and two ski lifts! Other railroad exhibits include: Visitor Center filled with educational artifacts, wonders and gifts, Interpretive Center with a fully renovated 1923 Caboose, a 1913 Steam Derrick, a steam locomotive with a working bell and whistle, plus more. Come see the progress on our new HO scale Moffat railroad layout that is being built. Great entertainment for families, as well as railroad enthusiasts, and budget friendly! 

Our Summer & Fall Seasons run from Memorial Weekend through September! Wed-Sun through August and Fri-Sun in Sept. Hours are 10 am-4 pm. (Open Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.) And for our Holiday Season, we re-open the day after Thanksgiving and into early January. Hours are Wed-Sun 10 am-4 pm. (Closed Christmas Day.)
