Leave No Trace Stewardship Training Workshop
Interested in learning more about the public lands in Grand County and how you can help protect them?
Join us for a Leave No Trace Stewardship Training Workshop and discover how simple stewardship practices can make a big difference.
Each year, Leave No Trace training empowers tens of thousands of people with the skills and ethics to minimize their impact on nature. In fact, individuals who complete Leave No Trace training are five times more likely to take actions that protect the environment.
Whether you hike, camp, fish, bike, ski, hunt, picnic, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this workshop will help you deepen your understanding of how to care for the wild places you love.
Presented by Headwaters Trails Alliance and the U.S. Forest Service, this hands-on training will:
- Dive into the core principles of Leave No Trace
- Share the latest updates from the USFS
- Highlight volunteer opportunities
- Explore how to effectively share outdoor ethics with others
Begins at 2 p.m.
