From world famous bumps, sun-kissed cirques, and a fun family environment for all, Winter Park Resort and Ski Granby Ranch offer many options. Both resorts are perfect for families and beginner skiers and riders, but can also provide a nice challenge.
Here’s where you’ll find the perfect line, groomed trail and lesson. Pick your mountain:
Winter Park Resort is Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort featuring over 3,000 acres of award-winning terrain including groomers, terrain parks, bumps, steeps and trees. All of this terrain is strewn across the Seven Territories all accessible on one pass or ticket: Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Ridge, the Cirque, Eagle Wind, and the Terrain Parks. Going from being on the top of the world at 12,060 feet of Parsenn Bowl skiing the gladed tree runs, to hitting the #1 bumps in North America at Mary Jane, grinding rails in the Rail Yard, or enjoying the ski/ride school, Winter Park is More Than You Can Imagine.
15 miles northwest of Winter Park is the quaint ski area of Ski Granby Ranch. Its family-friendly nature is perfect for the family to learn to ski together. The ski/ride school at Ski Granby Ranch is a great place to learn how to tackle the slopes with the gentle terrain, kind instructors, and a seven progression system in the terrain parks. Ski Granby Ranch is also the only night skiing/snowboarding facility in the Winter Park & Fraser Valley available on Fridays & Saturdays – dates to come.
