The snow is starting to fall and the holidays are almost here. The temperature is falling and activities are changing. The mountains are blanketed with beautiful white snow and Jack Frost is on his way. Enjoy your family holiday getaway up here this season while enjoying Free Skiing. Really. Truly!
Bring a jacket with your hat and gloves when you visit Winter Park and the Fraser Valley; you never know when you will need them. The lifts are opening soon and skiing is just around the corner. Looking for something else to do? Enjoy a horseback ride, a hike or snowshoe on our 600 miles of trails or a hot air balloon ride in the Colorado Rockies. Don’t forget that dog-sled rides are accepting reservations for later this year. Many guests plan their family tradition of cutting down a Christmas Tree; permits are available at the Winter Park Visitor Center or Granby Forest Service.
