Snowshoe in and around Winter Park, Colorado

If you can walk, you can snowshoe. Trust us. All you have to do is strap on a pair of snowshoes over your sneakers/boots and start walking with your legs just slightly wider than usual. It's that simple.

Whether you'd like to walk the groomed trails at any of our Nordic centers or the Fraser River Trail, or you're looking for a day in the wilderness on the miles of trails within the Arapaho National Forest, snowshoeing is a great fit. With miles of tree-lined trails in an endless backcountry wonderland, there are plenty of options to satisfy you in the great outdoors.

You'll find snowshoe rentals at area Nordic centers and at most of the ski shops in Winter Park and Fraser (listed below) and if you stop by the Information Center in downtown Winter Park you can pick up a trail map.
