HIPPITY HOPS 5K-ISH RACE

THIS IS a SUPER FUN RACE, A Beer & chocolate Free-for-all WITH SLEDDING/TUBING RACES and live music AT THE END!

Join us on March 31 for this fun event, there will be a beer stop by Upslope Brewing Company at the start and finish plus easter Easter Eggs hidden along the way for families racing.  Open to all ages, registrants will get easter bags (including beer mugs for the adults). 

Race categories are Fat Bike, Classic Ski, Skate Ski, Snowshoes and Regular Shoes. Every registration dollar will be donated to the Winter Park Housing Assistance Fund.   *Please note that due to variable snow conditions 

Don’t want to race that day? No worries, come enjoy the free sledding hill party from 1-4pm with a DJ on the stage at Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park with sledding races.  Or just come and enjoy the free live music from 4-6pm by The Long Run (Eagles Tribute Band) and delicious craft beer from Upslope Brewing Company!

Race Start: 1 pm from Adolph’s Events Center & Tavern in old town Winter Park near Winter Park Resort
 1008 Winter Park Dr, Winter Park, CO 80482

Race Finish: Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park, downtown Winter Park 78786 US-40, Winter Park, CO 80482
Course: Race will be along the Fraser River, final course will be determined by snow conditions closer to the date.

Packet Pick-Up & Walk-Up Registration
Friday, March 30th from 10AM-4PM at Winter Park Information Center
Saturday, March 31st from 9AM-12:30PM at Adolph's Events Center & Tavern.

Parking: We have a great shuttle service "The Lift" between Winter Park Resort and downtown Winter Park so you can park at Winter Park Resort or downtown Winter Park and get to-and-from the start and finish with ease. We recommend taking The Lift's Red or Black line to get to Adolph’s Events Center & Tavern in old town where the race begins, check out all of The Lift routes and timetables here.

Need equipment for the race? 
Alpine Sun Ski & Sport located right beside Adolf's Tavern can provide a 20% discount on rental equipment including snowshoes, skis, and snowboards to the participants of the event. All reservations must be made 48 hours in advance online via skialpinesun.com to receive the 20% discount.
