Here's our 2018 Winter Bucket List, just for you!
1. Get First Chair on a Powder Day
It takes a special kind of skier to get to the lift half an hour or more before the lifts open, but fresh pow and first tracks - totally worth it!
2. Hot Air Balloon Ride above Winter Park & Fraser
What an incredible way to see Winter Park and The Fraser Valley from a Hot Air Balloon!
We offer year-round balloon rides so you have all year to check this one off the list!
3. Go on a Hut Trip
Need to get out of town? A hut trip is the ultimate escape for a true adventurer! Check out the 10th Mountain Division hut locations and you and friends can reserve a spot in a hut among the mountains! http://www.huts.org/
4. Go Night Skiing at Granby Ranch
Ski Granby Ranch is Grand County’s only night skiing and snowboarding facility. Designated slopes and three terrain parks are fully lit for an evening of fun for all ages.

5. Dog Sled Ride
Looking for the truly unique experience during your getaway? Taking a dog sled ride is EXACTLY that. If you love dogs you'll be in heaven on a guided, back country dog sled ride through a private trail system of winter beauty.

6. Snow Tubing
Ever been snow tubing? Well, screaming down snow-covered slopes is a MUST DO while visiting the Winter Park,
Colorado's favorite Playground.

7. Fat Bike
Have you heard Winter Park is Mountain Bike Capital USA all year long?! Yep, fat biking is the latest way to play with two wheels on snow-packed trails. There are literally hundreds of miles of trail options for you to ride, easily accessed from downtown. Here are options in the Winter Park area!
8. Full Moon Cross- County Ski or Snowshoe
Beginner or expert, the Fraser Valley has hundreds of kilometers of trails, proving that skiing is not only made for downhill. There are a variety of trails that are snowshoe and cross-country friendly throughout Winter Park & Fraser. Pole Creek Golf Club, Grand Lake Nordic Center and Grand Huts 10th Mountain Division put on events for Full Moon treks so check the next moon cycle and sign up!
9. Powder Addiction Cat Tour
Powder Addiction, a local company that offers incredible guided backcountry skiing and riding opportunities in the area.
Powder Addiction uses a custom snowcat to deliver you and 11 other lucky participants to the top of Jones Pass (just 45 min from Denver or 30 min from the Village at Winter Park). From there, guides lead the way as you carve new lines in the fresh powder high above the rest of the world.
10. Après-ski
After a long, active day in Winter Park we like to celebrate how good we have it here in the mountains with a little après-ski!
