Winter Park Resort & Ski Granby Ranch
Want to see what makes Winter Park Resort More Than You Imagine? Seven territories gives you over 3,000 acres of terrain to play on. And with an average of over 29 feet of snowfall each season – how can you resist?
Family-friendly Ski Granby Ranch is just 20 minutes down the road from downtown Winter Park. Diverse runs will challenge beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders alike, while their terrain park is ideal for thrill seekers. Night skiing is offered on select weekends.
Devil's Thumb, Snow Mountain Ranch, Granby Ranch, Grand Lake Nordic
Devil’s Thumb Ranch has a network of more than 100km of groomed trails, offering terrain for all levels of expertise.
Grand Lake Nordic Center offers the beginner to advanced skier a variety of terrain on 35 km of classic and skate skiing trails. They even have a dedicated dog loop!
Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA of the Rockies offers over 100 km of trails situated in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.

Public Recreation Areas
For Adventure on Your Own
Grand Park, Located between the towns of Winter Park and Fraser, has an expansive scenic meadow ideal for those lookingfor a quick, accessible loop. There is no map needed to navigate this area; simply turn in the the entrance to Grand Park (look for the Shell Gas Station directly off Highway 40), and park towards the back of the lot for easy access to the trail.
Looking to explore on your own? There are plenty of trails available throught the area that you can access on your own. Just remember these trails are multi-use.
