Rendezvous Run for Independence
Continue your 4th of July celebration right and join us in beautiful Winter Park, Colorado’s Favorite Playground, for the Rendezvous Run for Independence 5 mile run/walk.
The race starts at The Vintage Hotel @ Winter Park Ski Resort. Competitors will wind their way through the Winter Park Resort, down the Fraser River Trail, through green forests and open valleys, through the Town of Winter Park, finishing at Rendezvous for an after race celebration. Every participant will get a T-shirt, post-race party, and a prize entry. The Rendezvous after party will include refreshments, awards and prize drawings from Cooper Creek Square. Shuttle bus service running round trip from Rendezvous to the Vintage Hotel will be provided.
Participants running with strollers or dogs will be asked to start the race last, bringing up the rear. Participants running with dogs will be required to keep the dog on a leash.

Next Year’s Race Date
Mark your calendars for next year’s race: July 1, 2017. We’re looking forward to the race’s 23rd year!
Race Pricing thru July 1
- Adult $30
- 18 & under $25
- Family (up to 6 members) $60
Race Pricing on July 2 (day of event)
- Adult $35
- 18 & under $30
- Family (up to 6 members) $65
Packet pick-up will be available on June 30 starting at 3pm in the Winter Park Information Center. Online pre-registration will close on June 30 at 5pm.

- 6:45am Shuttle Service begins
- 7:00-8:30am Packet pick up and registration at the Vintage Hotel
- 9:00am Race start
- Post-race party at Rendezvous finish line
Funds raised will benefit the Scott Hughes Foundation, which is administered by the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Denver, and will be granted to children with kidney disease and used for camp scholarships at Camp Chief Ouray at Snow Mountain Ranch, YMCA of the Rockies.
