Cross-Country Skiing

With 100 kilometers of trails at Devils Thumb Ranch and Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA of the Rockies, and 35 kilometers of trails at Grand Lake Touring Center skiing is not only made for downhill. You can enjoy classic or skate skiing through the Arapahoe National Forest. Beginner or expert any of these places can accommodate you.  Private or group lessons are available on beginner trails, while the experienced skier can enjoy longer trails with steeper climbs.

There are also a variety of trails that are snowshoe and cross country friendly throughout the Winter Park Fraser Valley. Please stop by the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce for more information and maps.
