An Incredible Day in Winter Park

Winter Park is the place to play, even if only for one day!

Winter Park is Colorado’s favorite Playground. Why? With plenty of things to do from mountain biking to  hikingrafting to fishing, and horseback riding to golfing, any outdoor enthusiast will be in recreation heaven. So what’s our favorite way to play for a day?

8:00 a.m.

Arrive in Winter Park nice and early to fuel up at a wonderful breakfast nook in town. Find somewhere with a patio if you’d like to start the day off outdoors, but as long as there’s coffee, you can’t go wrong!

9:00 a.m.

Head out for an early morning hike or book a guided horseback ride through the National Forests. It’s the best way to get up close and personal with our unique Rocky Mountain Wildlife.

11:00 a.m.

Winter Park Resort is known for its winter flare, but in the summertime it boasts unique family activities including Colorado’s longest alpine slide, a human maze, miniature golfing and more. Head over to the resort to squeeze in some great family time before lunch.

1:00 p.m.

For lunch, choose a place where you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Many of our resort and downtown restaurants boast patios with a killer view.

2:00 p.m.

One thing you can’t miss when you visit Winter Park? Mountain Bike Capital, USA™. With over 600 miles of trails and two nearby downhill parks, mountain biking is a must in Winter Park. Visit Trestle Bike Park or nearby Bike Granby Ranch for a downhill experience like no other.

5:00 p.m.

After a long day of adventure, return to town to grab some dinner. Stop by a local pub for a beer afterward as a reward for your long, busy day.

To truly relax at the end of the day, book a massage appointment at a local spa before you head home. Drive safely!
