COMMUNITY SALES PROGRAM
• We invite local businesses to participate in a voluntary Community Sales Program. Coordinated & managed by the Sales Council, its mission and purpose is to increase sales and revenues for Winter Park & Fraser Valley businesses through a coordinated sales effort. To fund this program, Sales Council suggests that a business interested in supporting this program add and pass on to the consumer a 1% surcharge to overall sales. This is later submitted to the Town of Winter Park, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, as Monthly or Quarterly tax payments (line 16 of the tax form.) A submission may also be received directly by the Chamber if you are not within Winter Park Town limits. Your participation is appreciated by the community and vital to the success of such things as special events, community familiarization tours for tour agents, managing group leads, collaborative vacation packages and more.
